How To Volunteer

WE DESPERATELY NEED VOLUNTEERS DURING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER IN OUR NORTHRIDGE KITCHEN !!

Saturdays 8:30 am - 12:00 Noon   Sundays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Come for an hour or a half hour or more. . . No demands, no special requirements

We'll be sorting through all of the tons and tons of candy we get from Halloween and this candy is server with our meals for an entire year.

Volunteers participate in a variety of ways. Some come in regularly, others intermittently. Some volunteer during set volunteer times, and others set their own volunteer schedule. Some help out at the Northridge kitchen, others do pick-ups and jobs not in the kitchen. Some help out downtown, and some come to fundraisers, or hold canned food drives.

Kitchen volunteers typically help prepare food. There are no strenuous jobs. Packaging, preparing, cutting,etc. Kitchen volunteers are welcome to come to the kitchen in Northridge on Saturday mornings from 5:30 am - 9:00 am.

Volunteers sometimes help us sell our aromatherapy candles which literally bring in thousands of dollars each month to purchase food.
