We Invite You to Participate in the Annual Candy Split

A great activity for ALL schools!

Steps for the Candy Split

Step One - Collect candy on Halloween October 31st. Go trick or treating or to a carnival or party.

Step Two - Divide your candy into two piles (who could possibly eat all of the candy collected by them self?)

Step Three - Choose a pile for yourself.

Step Four - Bring the other pile of candy to school. The candy will be given to Frontline Foundation, a Northridge based group that serves food to the people of Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. The candy will be given out along with each meal served.

This is a great way to get fattening candy out of the house. Instead of rotting your teeth, being gluttonous, getting a sugar rush and then crash, why not donate half your candy to Frontline? The candy is packaged into baggies and given along with meals served.

Frontline was founded in December 1987 by Ray Castellani in an effort to bring love, through the vehicle of food, to the hungry of Skid Row, in downtown Los Angeles. Since it began, Frontline and it’s all volunteer corp. has served over 825,000 meals freely and unconditionally to people who have no other resource for food.
